100 Days of Happiness – Day 13

on April 27, 2016

Today we celebrated the king’s birthday. As I’ve only lived in this country for a few months, it was the first time I read it. apparently the weather is always fantastic on King’s Day. At least, that’s what the Dutch tell me. Today was cold, rainy and windy, which meant a lot of people stayed at home. So … not a lot of people at the festivities and the flea markets. We did find some nice bargains at the flea market and then went to the library, as they had their annual book sale. The huge pile of books I bought made me really, really happy!

All dressed up for King’s Day!

After I took the picture, I realised I had another bag full of books. 😀

  1. You “made out like a bandit” at the library sale, as my dad would say. Sorry the weather was not lovely as it “always” is!
