We had to go to the capital to take care of some things. Though it was a lovely day, we were inside most of the time. When we were done, we decided we’d make the most of the rest of the day. So we went for a lovely stroll through the city. We shopped a little (I spent about ten euros on household necessities and that was it) and afterwards we went for a drink and later for dinner. It was the perfect way to round up a tiring and frustrating day and it made me very happy. 🙂

Sounds like such a pleasant way to end the day!
It was very nice indeed. 🙂
Oh, by the way – is this 100 Days of Happiness your idea or something that is a new trend? I was thinking of joining in myself.
It’s something I saw on Facebook. I liked the idea, but really don’t know where it comes from. I don’t even know if I do it “right”, but it’s easy to do and makes me appreciate the little things more. 🙂 Feel free to join me!
There’s something on the Facebook I see here – I’m not sure it is 100 days, necessarily – of “Gratitudes”. I have not really bought into that for a couple of reasons. Firstly – I HATE people using verbs as nouns! “Hings that I am grateful for.” works for me! But, also, there’s something about it, put that way….the One you should share your gratitude with is God, I think….put on FB like that it can come off almost like bragging. And just on a facebook list it is very BORING, too! I feel very differently about your blog version. Firstly, it gives us a glimpse into your life, and sharing what makes you happy is just different somehow!
To me, it seems it’s much easier to find something you’re thankful for and it doesn’t say a lot about you. For instance, I’m thankful for food, a house, a job etc. But anyone would be! Things that make me happy tell a lot more about me and my blog is a place where I like to share about myself. I have to admit I do a (shorter) version of these posts on Facebook too. Not everyone knows I have a blog (or knows the address) and I like to share with them too.
